Our Doctors
Dr. Gary Armbrecht is proud to have practiced orthodontics in Grand Rapids for over 35 years. He received his specialty training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at the University of Rochester Eastman Dental Center – a program renowned for training in diagnosis and treatment of craniofacial conditions. While at Eastman, Dr. Gary was involved in early studies that gave rise to sealants and the bonding of brackets to the tooth surface.
He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the Great Lakes Association of Orthodontics, the Michigan Association of Orthodontists, and the American Dental Association. He has previously served as president of the Kent County Dental Society.
Dr. Gary’s hobbies include sailing, racing vintage automobiles, and spending time with his family (and two beautiful grandchildren) at his non-working farm in Leelanau County, MI.
Dr. David Armbrecht has practiced orthodontics for 10 years. He grew up in Grand Rapids and completed his undergraduate degree at Northwestern University, graduating with honors in communication disorders (speech pathology/audiology/learning disability.)
Subsequently, he completed dental school at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine, graduating Magna cum Laude. He received the Pierre Fauchard Award for outstanding dental research and was honored with membership in the dental honors society of Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He is proud to have received his specialty training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at the University of Rochester Eastman Dental Center.
Dr. David is the Immediate Past-President of the Kent County Dental Society. He is also currently a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the Great Lakes Association of Orthodontics, and the American Dental Association.
Dr. David’s hobbies include ballroom and salsa dancing (competitive and social), guitar and voice, running and soccer.
